How do employees get NiYO after their corporate has signed up?
NiYO will setup up a service desk to help onboard all employees.

 

Do the employees have to change their salary account?
NO, there is no need to change the salary account.

 

What is the paperwork required to sign-up for NiYO?
There is no paperwork required with NiYO’s unique digital onboarding.

 

When do the employees get NiYO card?
Instantly! The card is handed over at the counter activated and ready for use!!

 

How can the card be funded?
The card can be funded via NEFT/IMPS by anyone including the employer and the employee.

 

Will the card be accepted on all merchant outlets?
Yes, your NiYO card will be accepted at all VISA/MasterCard/Rupay merchant outlets.

 

Is there any PIN required for POS transactions?
Yes, your four digit PIN which is part of the Welcome Kit is required for all POS transactions.

 

How can I set/reset the ATM PIN?
Changing your ATM card PIN was never this easy. You can change your ATM PIN by following these easy steps:

  1. Log in your NiYO app.
  2.  Go to “Settings”.
  3.  Tap “Change your ATM PIN”
  4.  Verify your details and change your PIN 

Can the card be used to make online payments?
Yes, your NiYO card can be used for online payments at merchants accepting VISA, MasterCard and RuPay Cards.

 

Is the online transaction secure?
Yes, all online transactions are secured by RBI mandated 2F (second factor) authentication.

 

Can I transfer funds?
Yes, you can transfer funds from your NiYO card. You will be able to transfer funds to/from your General Pocket

 

Can I withdraw cash?
No, you cannot withdraw cash from your NiYO card.

 

How can I download the NiYO app?
The NiYO app is available at the Google Play Store. iOS and web versions are coming soon

 

Do I need to be a customer to use the app?
Yes, you should have finished your onboarding before you can use the app.

 

Do I need an OTP to open the app? What is the process ?
Yes, you need an OTP. As soon as you sign up from your registered mobile number, you will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your phone

 

What is Password? Where is it used?
Password is required to ensure safety of data on your app. Think of it as your mobile app password. You can customize your Password and set it to an easy to remember number.
For security reasons, all transactions done through the app require Password verification.

 

When can I start using my mobile app?
As soon as you download the app and sign up, the app is ready for use.

 

How can I reset my Password?
You can reset the mobile app pin by selecting the ‘Change Password’ option by following the below steps

  1. An Password reset option is available in the app. Following data is needed in case of Password 
  2. Tap on Menu Button
  3.  Select Settings option
  4.  Select ‘Change Password’!

 What if I forget my NiYO Password?

An Password reset option is available in the app. Following data is needed in case of Password 

  1.  Date of Birth as per records 
  2.  Last 4 digit of NiYO card number 

 Who can credit money into my NiYO account?
 Anyone with your account details – IFSC Code and Account Number – can transfer money into your 
 

Can I deposit cash into my NiYO account?
 Sorry, you cannot deposit cash into your NiYO account.
 

Will I get a cheque book?
 Sorry, a cheque book is not issued with your NiYO account.

 

How can I transfer money from my NiYO account?
 You can transfer money from your NiYO account using the ‘Funds Transfer’ option on the NiYO app. Transferring funds using your NiYO app is hassle free and convenient. Follow these simple steps –
Add beneficiary on ‘Add Payee’ list with all the required details
Select beneficiary and add payment details
You can also schedule the fund transfer in advance

 

How can I make periodic payments from my NiYO account?
You can make periodic payments from your NiYO account using the ‘Funds Transfer’ option on the NiYO app. Transferring funds using your NiYO app is hassle free and convenient. Follow these simple steps –
Add beneficiary on ‘Add Payee’ list with all the required details
Select beneficiary and add payment details
Choose the recurring option if applicable
You can also schedule the fund transfer in advance

 

How can I check my balance?
You can check the balance from your NIYO app.
You can also use 24×7 IVR services to request account balance.

Checking your balance is easy, simple and hassle free and doesn’t cost anything on your NIYO app. However, checking your account balance

 

Can I temporarily lock / Unlock my card ?
Yes you can also temporarily lock your NiYO card as many times as you like by following the below steps

  1. What can I do if card is Lost / Stolen/ Damaged ?
  2. Tap on Menu Button 
  3.   Select Settings option
  4.   Select ‘ Lock / Unlock Temporarily’
  5.   Turn On/ Off ‘Lock Card’ 
  6.  Enter Password
  7.  Tap on ‘Confirm’

  Block your card immediately from your app by following the below steps.

  1.  Tap on Menu Button
  2.  Select Settings option
  3.  Select ‘Permanently Block Card’
  4.  Turn on ‘Block Card’
  5.  Choose the desired option
  6.  Tap on ‘Block Card’
  7.  Confirm your Password 
  8.  Report/Contact NiYO support for help immediately.

 What happens if I lose my mobile phone?
 No worries!…If you retain your old mobile number on the new phone, you can download the NiYO app on the new phone and start using NiYO
